Velvet Vibes

Happy Sunday Evening!

I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend. We have been having surprising fine weather, a bit chilly but dry all the same!

I had been wanting to share this look with you for a while now as I received this adorable outfit from Buy Design, a County Kildare Boutique before Christmas.

This look would be perfect for any special occasion. I especially love the detail in the midi skirt as it has a mix of materials with a velvet underlay, pleated detailing and leather trim. Something which you would never pick up on the High street. Teamed with the skirt is a super soft velvet long sleeve body and a gorgeous lace obi belt.

The obi belts are a great little accessory for cinching in your waist while adding that extra texture to your look. I finished the ensemble with my ever reliable Topshop court heels and patent Penneys Clutch.
