It's all about Fall

I hope you all had a faBOOlous Halloween!!

Autumn it is the most beautiful of all the seasons, bringing with it all those glorious things that go with colder weather like wrapping up in blankets and warming your hands around that second fancy coffee you just bought "to warm up", not because you're greedy!!

But there's something I love about October, where the odd sunny day (like today!) is mixed in with the chill and we can get away with wearing those little day dresses with your opaque tights - you know the kind that master that casual autumnal feel without much effort?

Without a doubt autumn is my favourite time of year. We have been so lucky lately, it’s been perfectly crisp making everywhere just so pretty, with all the fabulously autumn crunchy fallen leaves in the orange, yellow and red tones!

The Seventies has been a real dominating style factor this Autumn with its little jacquard dresses, suede and velvets, bell sleeved shirts, chunky boots, bright print patterns and colours.

The following outfit featured a good combination of all of the above and I love it. I seen this mini dress in Zara (here) and it swiftly became a wardrobe staple and I feel like it’s perfect for this time of year with tights and boots.

I bought the boots also from Zara (here) a couple of weeks ago, I was drawn to them straight away as I feel there more fun than your typical black ankle boots and would definitely lift a pair of black skinnies.

I finished the look with a black coat with faux fur collar which is an older piece from my wardrobe and the fab red bag from Dune. It’s one of those pieces that I seem to pull out of my wardrobe at this time of year and I love it!

This jacquard mini would also be fab with a little leather jacket and black ankle boots, it’s definitely quite versatile and I know I’ll get lots of wear out it!
