Saturday Stripes

Happy Monday folks!

Here we are at the start of another week. How is it mid-August already? There's so much on for me at the moment, time seems to be just running away on me.

I am in the middle of trying to organise a pop-up shop in Monaghan town. I have had so many people contact me about certain pieces I have worn that I thought it would be fun to try it out! I am very excited about it all, however at the moment I am just trying to source equipment and furniture to make the pop-up shop look as nice as possible.

Anyway, I will tell you more about that closer to the time!

Now, onto what I wore on Saturday. Mum and I had a mother daughter day and we had lots of fun! We went up the north for a while to have a look around the shops and on our return we stopped off in my favourite spot, Castle Leslie! We had a little bite to eat and of course a glass of vino! It was just so nice to chill out for a while.

For my day out I wore this pin striped dress (here) which I picked up in Zara on Friday. I know with this dress you will either love it or hate it. I obviously love it! I just think it is so unusual. I am a huge fan of the vertical stripes, the shape with the little V-neck, the midi length and the frill detailing to the bottom are all so feminine and really flattering on a variety of body shapes!

Originally when I bought this little number, I thought I would team it with some cool trainers or high tops and a choker for a more casual look! On this occasion I teamed it with chunky black lace ups, which are from Penneys last year and a black cross body bag from Zara.

Must go, the doggies have to be walked!
