Happy Friday everyone!

My mum, dad and I had stayed at The Galgorm Resort and Spa in Antrim on Monday night and it was such an amazing stay away. I love two types of hotels, the old castle kind (Like Castle Leslie) and the luxurious one … and trust me when I say this but Galgorm is definitely luxurious! From the moment we arrived, I was so impressed.
The hotel is simply stunning with fabulous ornaments and decor. Location wise, Ballymena is little less than 10 minute drive away and Belfast only a 40 minute drive. Galgorm is situated in beautiful country surroundings, a world away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely door man who showed us to the friendly receptionist that would check us in and give us our room key. After settling into our rooms, which can only be described as AMAZING, we got into our swimwear and robes and headed down to the Thermal suite! I selected this black swimsuit from River Island(here). I decided to wear a swimsuit for this occasion, as I just felt it was more appropriate and the fact that there are just so many nice one pieces available at the moment. Check them out here.

I had heard so much about this award-winning Spa that was I super excited to see what the fuss was all about…. and oh my God…. it did not disappoint. Incredible!! The Thermal suite surpassed my every expectation. We spent about an hour unwinding in the thermal suite and in the outdoor jacuzzi/pool – which is a must-have experience! After that, we ordered some light bites which we got to eat outdoors in the stunning sunny weather while drinking prosecco, over-looking the picturesque river flowing by!
Following our light bites, it was time for our treatments! The rooms in the spa are something to be commended – spotless, soothing music playing and dimmed lights! I opted for a facial and mum went for a full body massage! They were just so lovely and relaxing.

We then headed back to the outdoor pool to lie out by the pool for a few more hours before dinner! We had booked dinner for 7:30 and so before this I had a quick outfit change. For dinner I opted for my favourite lace peplum powder blue dress, from self portrait, which is actually now on sale instore at BT2 Blanchardstown(here).

Before having to return home the following day we had an fantastic breakfast from continental, fruit, croissants and cereals to a cooked breakfast, the chose was brilliant!
For my two hour journey home I wasnted something comfy so I chose to wear these gorgeous patterned wide leg trouser from River Island (here) a blac ruffle bardot body from Topshop(here) lace up heels from Penneys(similar here), complete with coin and bead drop earrings(here).

Overall the Galgorm Resort and Spa is a MUST visit. We loved it and will definitely be back! If you love luxury, then you will be super impressed with this hotel! If you are after a night’s stay with friends, or just a special occasion with a partner – then you have got to check out this place!
