Monaghan Stylefix 2015

Over two weeks ago Monaghan organised the most fantastic and successful fashion show, The Stylefix! The fashion show was a fun and exciting night for all the fabulous boutiques involved and for the fashionistas attending. The doors opened in the Four Seasons Hotel at 7:30pm, with champagne on arrival and goodie bags for the first hundred lucky ladies. Also on arrival everyone had the opportunity of getting their pictures taken with the lovely Suzanne Toal and her lantern studio. The Boutiques involved in the Monaghan Stylefix were Hollyblue, Lou Lou, Impulse and Utopia. These boutiques put together many outfits both casual and dressy all of which had something to suit absolutely everybody whether it be shape, style or taste.
These boutique offer you more than your usual high street stores, as they ooze uniqueness and quirkiness for any occasion, such as work events, outings or weddings to name but just a few. Showing Monaghan as a place to come for shopping so has to be at the top of your list!
Also on the night I had the daunting task as selecting the most stylish lady. This task was not an easy one as you would expect, the Monaghan ladies came out in abundance in their glitz and glam to win the most marvellous prize donated by town businesses!
Since this was such an exciting opportunity for me, I knew I was going to have to put my best foot forward, yet I wanted something comfortable and stylish. So for this role, I selected an A-line emerald green dress, from Zara and one of my favourite key trends this Autumn/winter, thigh high boots, from River Island I loved everything about this look.
Now onto the most stylish lady competition. The outfit I choose was worn by the very glamorous Breeg Lavin, who opted for a little crop trouser, cute top and stunning autumnal coloured cape, this ensemble stood out to me as soon as she walked through the door. A very worthy winner!
I am so excited for next year’s show already to see what else Monaghan has to offer us very eagerly awaited fashion followers! In the meantime don’t forget to visit the rolling hills of Monaghan to see the wonderful fashion available.
