Although I have never been to Electric Picnic myself, every year I toy with the idea. I love music but the thought of roughing it in a tent and saying goodbye to running water and clean clothes is not at the top of my list! I guess there’s always VIP style. I could check into pink moon camping or Bohemia Boutique Camping and live it up there. Well, maybe next year ;-)

One thing to do before you embark on your music festival journey is plan your outfits and pack accordingly. If you do this, all you have to do to get ready in the morning is roll out of your sleeping bag and throw on your planned outfit for some instant glamour.

So I bet you are struggling with the question that all women struggle with when packing…AHH! WHAT DO I BRING? Here’s what some outfit ideas in order to avoid packing your whole closet. Best of luck with that ;-)!

Denim shorts are usually a festival staple, much in part because the high-street stores look to Coachella and even UK festivals, such as V Festival, for design inspirations. Both of these festivals usually enjoy higher temps than Ireland, which we all know isn’t hard to beat, so you might have to select a long sleeve or light jacket with the forecast in mind.

How to adjust our style choices to suit the Irish climate:

Here are some inspiring looks - featuring leggings, wide leg trousers and dungarees. Transform these looks to accommodate a potential shower; you can pair these with a fedora, a light parka and some thin layers.

Another option is to opt for a sweet floral dress with fab Hunter ‘Festival’ Wellies and a cute leather or denim jacket. Finish your look with some beach waves or a braid and off you go! You’re ready to dance the night away!

It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it and this season practically nothing is off limits.

Rock On!

XOXO
