Dare to wear dungarees

Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend despite the less than fabulous weather today.
I couldn’t wait to tell you about my weekend, especially what I got up to on Friday night!
The weekend began with some much needed family time. I met my sister and mum in Dublin early on Friday afternoon. We went for a bite to eat at Milano’s in Blanchardstown, a great spot for some delicious pizza. My wonderful sister surprised me with Ed Sheeran tickets for my birthday back in March, and the concert was finally here. I could barely sit still through dinner I was so excited! With a full and satisfied tummy, my sister and I went on our way to Croke Park.
When we arrived we decided to have a wee drink before we headed in. We didn’t want to waste too much time because we wanted to find a good spot. One that offered some comfort and a spectacular view of the man! We were delighted when we snagged two right beside the pit.
What a gig it was! Ed was phenomenal, didn’t disappoint one bit. I loved every minute of it! The place was absolutely jam-packed and the atmosphere was electric. Everyone was in such good form and there was a great buzz around Croker. I think the weather definitely accounted for a lot of hype, because with some serious luck, the rain managed to stay away. We sang at the top of our lungs the whole way through which resulted in a sore throat…so worth it! I wish it lasted all night! To top off the perfect night, Kodaline joined Ed for one song and it was incredible. The whole crowd went crazy.
I absolutely loved my ensemble for the show. I selected unbelievably comfortable skater shoes, dungarees and an off the shoulder top. All of my pieces were from Topshop. I like to be prepared for any kind of weather that Ireland throws at me, so I brought my little khaki green throw over from Topshop. I also took my rain jacket which I kept tucked in my little white Penney’s crossover body bag which thankfully, I didn’t need.
Must dash. Catch up again soon,
Rebecca Rose xx
