Hello everyone. I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I most definitely did!
I had a fun staff night out Friday at Monaghan’s annual country music festival, a girl’s night Saturday and was inclined to celebrate on Sunday as well as a result of Monaghan winning the Ulster final! Well done boys!
This post is about the outfit that I wore Sunday night in town. I bought this particular skirt last week on a shopping excursion with some friends. I fell in love with these pieces on the Topshop website a few weeks before the actual purchase. Trying it on in the store in St Stephens Green confirmed my initial thoughts…it was PERFECT and my love affair for denim continues!
My most previous blog, Denim Takeover part 1, should have made you aware that denim is huge this season. If you don’t own a denim skirt yet, I would highly recommend you pick one up! There are a few different styles that are the perfect addition to your wardrobe, including a mini or pencil skirt. Another obsession for me this season is the off the shoulder trend. This little black top was the perfect addition to my outfit.
Now on to the shoes…all I can say is WOW!! I am the biggest fan of the Gillian Ghillie Court shoes from Topshop. They are fab to look at, pushing any outfit to the next level. I was standing for hours watching the band and I couldn’t resist a little dancing too;). Looking forward to the rest of the summer and creating outfit magic with these separate pieces!
Hope you like this look as much as do,
Rebecca Rose xx
