Hey guys!
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend; happy belated 4th of July to my American readers! My weekend was a wonderful mix of relaxation and fun. It consisted of some shopping, very surprising I know ;), and a night out on the town with my girlfriends on Saturday and was topped off with a beautiful Sunday spent at Castle Leslie. Their delicious Sunday lunch never fails to please!
I love to wear dresses. They make me feel flirty and fun. Little dresses are also the easiest thing to grab and throw on for any occasion, especially during the summer. Even when you’re pressed for time to get ready, picking out a dress helps to make you look cute and classy.
For dinner at Castle Leslie I wanted to show off my boho fringed pattern dress from Zara. I snagged this beautiful dress when I was in New York on holiday last summer. It was love at first sight. I knew it would be my go to dress when in doubt. I saw myself reaching to wear this little number because it was so comfortable, flattering and wearable for our Irish summers, an element that is often hard to find! I picked this dress to wear on Sunday because it was most appropriate for the weather and the atmosphere. Lucky for me, appropriateness and style go hand in hand.
Even though my dress is from last season, it is still on trend because of the fringing on the sleeves. I’ve paired it here with nude gladiator sandals that I got in Topshop last weekend. You could also pair them with little summer shorts or a playsuit for a dressier look. I love this look so much that I want to share some alternative ideas with you, see some of these below.
Must dash…loads of styling to do! Stay tuned.
