Good morning fellow style divas!

This past Wednesday, my girlfriends and I decided that a girl’s night was a must! My week had been super hectic so I was well ready for girlie catch up and that well needed glass of vino! The opportunity called for a fabulous outfit, so I chose to wear my new paisley patterned palazzo pants! I absolutely adore these pants because they are so flattering. They are definitely one trend that you should all try!

Allow me to give you the low down on Palazzo Pants. They are super wide-leg pants that were tremendously popular in the ’60s and ’70s. As most trends tend to usually do, they have recently made a huge comeback.

It’s impossible to go into the high street shops such as, Zara, Topshop and River Island at the moment without seeing at least one “must have” pair of these amazing pants. Not only are Palazzo pants adorable, they are also very versatile. They can be styled with flat sandals for a completely casual and effortless look or they can also look fantastically glamorous when paired with heels. I know some people may have a hard time believing this, but I think these are extremely flattering on so many body types as they lengthen your legs while slimming your thighs, which is something I definitely love. Comfortability is yet another perk of palazzo pants.

They are lightweight and flowy, making for the ideal pair of pants for this astonishingly warm weather we are experiencing. I think it’s safe to say summer has finally arrived in Ireland folks!

When I saw this particular pair in Zara, I just had to have them!! I knew they would go perfectly with black/white bardot, crop top or simply teamed with a little v neck like I have shown. Surprise, surprise…I bought a second pair as well! They are a fabulous, bright coloured pair. Stay tuned to see what creative ideas I come up with for those.

Palazzo pants are not just taking Ireland by storm. I have also seen many celebrities like Michelle Keegan and my style icon, Olivia Palermo, wearing these trends. It was Olivia Palermo and her polka dot pair that inspired me to be on the hunt for a pair to add to my wardrobe.

Have a look and see what you guys think, here are just a few of my favourite style ideas.

Peace out x
