My First Blog!!

So here it goes… My first fashion blog!

I often use my Saturday's to go shopping. It is my escape and today was no exception. Mum and I decided to take a little trip up North to Dungannon, in particular The Linen Green, where the well renowned ‘Boudoir’ is based. The Linen Green is an optimal spot for shopping. I must admit, I spent way too much time online shopping this week, so I was perfectly content to just look today. Looking can be just as exhilarating and exhausting as the real thing, so to rest our weary bones, we caught lunch at Deli on the Green. It was a fabulous place to catch up and recharge. The food and atmosphere was lovely, highly recommend!

The sun actually managed to stay shining today, which in Ireland is nothing short of a miracle. I was delighted about this pleasant surprise because it allowed me to wear my new gladiator sandals, a new summer favourite of mine. I figured if Kourtney Kardashian could pull them off, why couldn’t I? ;)

As you will find out about me, I dress to impress any chance I get! My gorgeous shopping outfit for this bright day made me feel happy. I wore a lightweight, flowy grey and white dress from Topshop. I love this piece because of its versatility and can be worn in most seasons, such as with or without opaques, little brogues or ankle boots. I figured I should take along a jacket on the off chance a cloud or two decided to make an appearance. For that job I selected a waterfall sleeveless jacket, which I picked up yesterday in Exhibit for €26. I absolutely love it. They had loads of colours, grey, green, and navy and would be fab with jeans as well as over evening wear. Who says that shoes can’t be both trendy and comfortable? These Parfois gladiator sandals prove that they can! And to top it all off, they are on sale now for only €16…can you believe that? Who doesn’t love a good bargain?! :-)
